Mastery-level language skills

The C2 intensive course targets advanced learners who aim to refine their expression, use idiomatic language with confidence, and communicate with stylistic precision. You engage with authentic texts from newspapers, literary works, academic publications, and cultural media. Discussions revolve around society, politics, science, art, and philosophy in the German-speaking world.

You deepen your understanding of complex grammatical structures and expand your vocabulary with nuanced, high-register expressions. The course builds your ability to interpret subtleties, structure arguments clearly, and express sophisticated ideas fluently in both written and spoken German.

In the LcL Language Lab, you improve your pronunciation, intonation, and rhythm through targeted listening and speaking exercises. A skilled instructor guides you and provides additional materials tailored to your individual needs. This course not only prepares you for the official C2 exam – it also strengthens your ability to communicate with clarity, elegance, and cultural insight.

In one of the most beautiful streets of the 7th district in Vienna.

The top renovated rooms of our old Viennese Biedermeier house from 1695 offer a comfortable and modern atmosphere to help you focus on your learning. Our offices contain five classrooms, each about 10 to 25 square meters. Every classroom is furnished with easy-to-move desks and chairs, as well as a cloakroom. On sunny days, our picturesque courtyard is also available for lessons outside. Our language institute is on the ground floor. The building itself is under monument protection, it is one of the oldest houses of Vienna. Right around the corner from the school, you will find numerous cafés, restaurants and bars as well as museums, theaters and cinemas.

Buses: 48A (St Ulrichs Platz or Kellermanngasse) or 13A (Neubaugasse/Westbahnstraße or Burggasse/Neubaugasse)

If you're traveling by car, the Contipark Garage Museumsquartier or the Payuca Garage Kirchberggasse are available for a parking fee.

"I had a good experience and improved my language skills during my time there."

The location is practical and accessible. The facilities are new and some are still being renovated/improved. Some equipment such as headphones and microphones were not fully set up and were used on the last day of class. The instructor was really good, spoke clearly and explained things well. The setup of the classes was good. Ideally, it would be great to switch up class activities and make them a bit more dynamic so that it’s not as repetitive over time (such as creating dialogues or conversations). The staff is friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they provided us with water for every class. Overall I had a very good experience. While there are things still being set up or renovated, I think this institute already has great potential for being a good resource for language learning.
