Kursbeskrivning

These courses allow the student to focus on a career-related or personal topic of interest.
These topics include, but are not limited to: Medical Spanish, Business Spanish, Spanish for Law Professionals, Household Spanish, Spanish for Work in Construction, Ecological Spanish , Nautical Spanish, Spanish for Work in Tourism, Spanish for Teachers, Spanish for Children (3+), Spanish & Latin American Culture, Spanish for Preparation for OTEIMA Exams, Spanish for Preparation of DELE Exams.

Materials included: Materials will be selected according to objectives and needs of the student(s) defined in accordance with the teacher.

Others included: Introduction folder with Tourist information including area map & info about the course (levels, objectives, contents and evaluations) /placement test / coffee & tea during breaks / introduction talk on Sunday / Friday’s happy hour / certificate upon completion.

Skolbeskrivning

Vår skola i Turrialba, Costa Rica, kallas spanska vid floden. Det ligger lite utanför den typiska "Tico" staden Turrialba. På skolan hittar du ett fullt utrustat kök, bibliotek, hängmattor, flera studieområden, datorer, gratis Wi-Fi och en vacker trädgård. Spanska sporter hålls mestadels ute, i en av de små hytterna eller på den rymliga verandan, där du har en vacker utsikt över vulkanen och de grönskande gröna omgivningarna. Du kan fånga exotiska fåglar som tucaner, kolibrier och andra tropiska arter samtidigt som du går till lektionerna. Under raster serverar vi gott kaffe från de omgivande högländerna.

omgiven av primär och sekundär regnskog. Turrialba är ett bra ställe för personer som letar efter en äkta upplevelse som innebär att träffa Ticos och Ticas och de som vill ha utomhusaktiviteter som forsränning, vandring och ridning.

"I had a good experience."

I had a really good experience with Spanish by the river. In my class we were just two students and one teacher and that was absolutely perfect. We shared the same level and developed quickly Spanish. Our teacher would teach us what we want to learn and would make suggestions. I really appreciated that she was local and could tell us more about the area and traditions of Turrialba. In the afternoon we had time to discover the area and talk about it in the next class. The teacher and the location was perfect. My only complain is that it took a full week until we received the second exercise book. That was too long.
In total I am happy and fulfilled with my experience. I learned what I was looking for and would recommend this course.
