"Unique"

I liked Rose's way of teaching because it was different and interesting! The location was perfect because it is in the center and it's near my aunt's home. Also, I liked activities like going to Edinburgh and Durham. All the staff and teachers were very polite and they all knew my name!

"Studying at Newcastle International School of English was wonderful"

I liked the teacher Sonia, she was very helpful. I made many friends in the school, mainly the Libyans. The location is easy, near downtown.
The subways are excellent, the city is very very beautiful and has good pubs -- mainly Latin night.
I don't like the taxis, because is very expensive in the period at night. I was in the house of my cousin in Jarrow. The climate in June and July is fantastic, nice of the Brazil.
I don't like the method classes with the teacher named Magda, because I believe that lessons should be more interactive.
Could have more trips in this period, because I was there just a month and there were few opportunities to visit other cities.

"Good place to learn English and prepare for IELTS exams."

Small manageable group of students with maximum class size of 12. Very helpful and enthusiastic teachers. I was very impressed by the quality of teaching that I decided to book further 2 weeks of lessons. Good easy to reach location in town centre.

Some students were disruptive and were only there to perhaps pass time.

Visumsupport

Vi kan inte ansöka om visum för studenter. Dock kan skolan försörja dig med all dokumentation du behöver för att stödja din visumansökan.

Om du studerar i Storbritannien över 11 månader, så kommer du att få ett referensnummer kallat Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) som du överlämnar till Brittiska ambassaden tillsammans med din allmänna studentvisumansökan. Studenter som framgångsrikt har bokat en språkkurs och betalat avgifterna kommer att få ett CAS från NIS. Var vänlig notera att Brittisk lag säger att CAS enbart tilldelas studenter som planerar att studera engelska i över 11 månader.

Om du studerar i Strobritannien i 11 månader eller mindre, så måste du ansöka om ett speciellt besöksvisum som kallas Student Visitor Visa. Som en besökande student, kan du inte arbeta på halvtid samtidigt som du studerar. Om du planerar att studera i Storbritannien i 11 månader eller mindre, så kommer ett antagningsbrev skickas till din hemadress via vanlig post utan kostnad. Om du önskar få ditt pappersarbete via expressbrev, kommer du att debiteras £ 85 när du registrerar dig.

With regards to your student enquiry for the FCE/CAE exam unfortunately we haven't got any classes running for this course at the moment due to low number of students, However we can offer student a one to one sessions with our teachers if the student is willing.

"I have a prospective student from Spain who would like to take evening and weekend classes at International House: Newcastle. I know that you do not offer any group courses at nights and on weekends. Can you possibly organize private lessons to accommodate his schedule? Can the lessons be held at the school or can they meet at the student's home or at a cafe if the school is already closed? Is there a minimum number of lessons that the student must book?"

Organizing private lessons out of normal school hours isn’t something that we usually do but I have spoken to our director and she said that we could potentially offer classes one weekday evening. I’m afraid the school is the only place that lessons could take place, we can’t offer private tuition in the students home or in a local café.
